With 2012 around the corner, Bluetree Elecronics has introduced an innovation that will rock our world and our eardrums: the Kube 2, the world’s smallest MP3 player. Following the footsteps of its predecessor, the Kube, Kube 2 has similar design and teeny tiny frame. Rivaling miniature MP3s, like the iPod shuffle, the Kube 2 has implemented an aluminum body and touch screen capabilities. You can now swipe the screen to change songs or change modes by swiping diagonally. Pressing the op or bottom of the player adjusts the volume. The original Kube was made of plastic with no touch screen technology, by contrast.

The Kube 2 can also be personalized to your taste and style with different skins, acting as removable stickers. This little MP3 will keep you jamming for about 6 hours and a 4GB microSD card can store around 1,000 songs. The microSD slot has the capability to support cards up to 32GB, about 8,000 songs. The device can be fully charged by USB within an hour.

If you’re itching to have the Kube 2 in your hands, you have a little bit of time to kill. The device is currently only available in Singapore (where Bluetree Electronics is located). The Kube 2 can be seen at the CES in January before it’s released in 2012.
