The previous rumored, electric manufacturer to be introducing a tablet that uses the Windows 8 operating system in the computer exhibition Computex 2012 in Taipei, Taiwan. Then ASUS begin introduces with ASUS Taichi.
But ASUS Taichi is not a tablet, but a convertible notebook that not only has one screen, but the two screens at once. Thus, the device combines Windows 8 is like a notebook and tablet functions, all in one device.
When used as a notebook is opened, there is a 13.3 inch screen and keyboard with trackpad. Meanwhile, if the device is not opened, then you can use this device like a tablet in the 11.6-inch screen, which is placed at the top.
Interestingly, when opened, then there will be two sides of the screen that can be used as well, which screens for notebook and the screen at the front. Both work simultaneously, which uses touchscreen technology. Even so, the user can use inside and outside their respective screens.
The two screens of ASUS Taichi that support 1080p Full HD resolution, Super IPS panel with LCD for angle and good, as well as color and brightness. There is also a camera on the front and inside.
ASUS equip these devices with the third generation of Intel processors, Core i7. But it is not known specifically other ASUS Taichi specifications. ASUS has not said when this device will be released to the market and what price of Asus Taichi notebook.
